Down, Down, Down

Hold on tight, the rides getting rough
with every yesterday seems things are worse
down, down, down she falls from Grace
while everyone watches this greedy race

Once so strong designed by men of truth
she gave us freedom and justice, this we knew
now everyday, changes are made to enable some
taking and giving, what have they done

change must come, very soon
or they will have nothing, just doom
strength will change a weak man's mind
but strength now, is hard to find

down, down, down, what can we do
to save this country of the Red, White, and Blue
their eyes wide shut, full throttle they go
destination disaster, this we know

Christy, you and I both know our country has made major, no drastic changes and she is being lead by leaders that are egotistical and not dedicated to what they swore an oath to do. all we can do is keep our prayers that God will send someone to lead us out of the mess we are in, friends always, Ron
