Down Again Damn

DOWN AGAIN DAMN! Stress and tension, heart pulsating, can’t take more One day two, three days, perhaps today even four, Not knowing what we’ve lost, poems I’v saved, but Comments, views are so important to encourage poets, In my scribble jotter are my poems where I’v kept notes, They’re safe, thanks to the cloud, internet and Word, Otherwise this situation would have become totally absurd! If our business’s server went wonky for three whole days, Dissatisfied customers would elsewhere look for another way Forward, perhaps your system is overloaded, maintenance, Is essential for a worldwide network like Poetry Soup site, So hope that for us, and your advertisers, you soon get it right, We no more want to go through this nerve racking fright! Look forward to seeing cheery poems, comments and views today, On poetry soup, which with passion I and others hold the flame, Sure you guys are worried sick, for this is definitely no game!

G'day Jennifer … I missed this verse of yours. Perhaps, because I stayed away from soup for six days to avoid frustration. Sometimes in situations like this, all is lost. Poetrysoup people did a darn good job for us all I reckon - thanks Jennifer - Lindsay

I was fortunate this time, did not lose anything, got it all back, not like Tom Cunningham's Black Sunday poem, there I lost all my comments for two poems. I think Poetrysoup have now upgraded, better late than never! Thanks for an apt and awesome comment, Hugs and blessings Lindsay. Jennifer.

Hi, Jennifer! I visited another site where they had lost all poems, comments and contests in progress. So, we fared much better. I saved all my poetry. Lost comnents are lost. I have only been here since 1/25/2019. We have to move on, right? Panagiota

Jennifer, I was horrified because I was not sure that I had saved my poems and some went to contests, yet they were completely gone. Thank you for writing what we were all thinking!

Jennifer, I agree with you completely. I imagine that some poets will vote with their feet. (Hope that you're not one of them!!)… On the other hand, I leaned back and decided that it was best to chill, to do something else, to take a nice break, and that's what I did. ~ Refreshed in Chicago

I never trust any electronic completely. All my poems are saved in hard copy in note books. God Bless my friend. JB ;)
