Doves

A few random sticks;
the nest of a Mourning Dove.
As fragile as peace.

Thank you for sharing your poetry Wayne. Poets here offer such diverse writings and to me it is a pleasure to read each and everyone. I will not be here at the Soup to read from Friday through Monday. I hope you will find mountains of inspiration during that time. I look forward to reading when I return. Have a great weekend. Love, Carol

Yes, their nests do seem fragile and it's sad to see a dove in mourning. Beautifully written haiku, Wayne. Love, Carolyn
