Doubtful

This rock
Inside this cage of claws
Pumping red poison
Everywhere in me
Was it a wrong word
You spoke

Your I AM is doubtful
When I am an error

What an interesting take on deformity (? I'm guessing). Sad...and challenging.

Thank you. Your guess is as good as mine. Thanks again for reading my poem. Someone once said - poetry is like a river which flows out between the fingers and forgets its creator. Your observation enhanced my thoughts. God bless.

Hi dear heart, a rock lies in every heart and wonders why no burning bush melts it any longer. Thank you for your encouraging words.

Hi Ibohal, there are many times in my life when I feel doubtful and there shall be many more, I am sure. Fear can grip the heart so strongly when doubt creeps into the mind. Strong and deep thoughts my friend. A poem that leaves one thinking. Have a wonderful Sunday. Your friend....Mike.

Hi Mike, my friend, oftentimes when the heart becomes heavier than a mountain, one feels a volcano churning inside. But the trouble is it can't erupt correctly. Thanks my friend.
