Doubt Came About
I wish for a talent
but it’s not apparent,
it’s something I want
but maybe I haven’t,
Have you a perspective,
ideas you’ve selected,
thoughts or opinions
on what I’ve projected?
Have I lost my mind,
or is half on decline,
Maybe I please you
with lines that I rhyme?
I'm having some doubt as to what I'm about,
tried as a poet, seen as a lout.
