Doubt and Desire

Man to his sweeheart:

Curious to know why
you rejected all my advances...
doubt built up quickly.

Woman to her sweetheart:

I wouldn't have refused...
if you had not been so shy,
making me feel loved;
and like you, I have desired
to be held so tight.
