Doubt

Is God just an illusion
Is religion just an institution?
People say the dead
are looking down on us
I wish it were true
but don't the dead
have better things to do?
Are they still a part of this world?
haunting and taunting us?
Are they deeply disturbed?
Or are the removed
at peace in a better part
of the universe?
Have they been reunited
with their ancestors?
Are they sunbathing
and relaxing by a pool?
Finally, free from this
cruel world?
I search for answers
but find only more questions
the more I learn.

We were always taught that the human body perishes but the spirit lingers on and that we go to a better place to exist with God and our loved ones, I firmly believe this to be true, otherwise the outlook is bleak...you are talented and that is a God given gift Minda.
