Oppressed and forced Religion never fed my soul Hammering out the dents That made me unique Shiny scriptures to justify The genocide of the “unclean” Savages stripped of their identity Found laid to rest in forgotten graves Religion never fed my soul But It opened my eyes to the universe ~ ~ ~ What lessons will I master In my next cycle? Be kinder? Be ruthless? Whoever pulls the strings I trust their judgement A feather on the air ~ ~ ~ Life flows out of me I watch as the seeds I Given birth to Beaming with pride Of whom they will become
