Double Standards

Why do we think it’s bad when other folks do it While we persist in justifying our flagrant ways? I suspect we cannot see our own shortcomings Their misbehaviors despicable, ours merely flings.

I'm sure we do, gw, and we also think more highly of ourselves than we ought to think. I think someone told me that one time when they were giving me the business! (chuckling)

I like the idea that some people are giving themselves a "break" from being too hard on themselves.
