Doors
So easy it is, without a thought
To open that little door, speak out of turn
So easily the veneer breaks
So easily the hurt remains
That door I open of my heart
Without the glitter or the gloss
And you enter to seek the best of all
Many precious gems you will find
And when you open that door, and find me
The one I hide behind in pain
The one I seek out with my hands
Your knowing eyes, I look for in vain
