Dooms Day

Many a time I passed through trouble
Many a time I passed through pain
I was exploited
I was humiliated

My pride was taken from me
I was consumed by mystery
My wings were taken so I couldn’t fly
What I ate all day was my cry
I asked myself why

And there came a voice say
In your affliction will you learn right
In your oppression will you rise to fight

The sun shines at day
And the stars at night
Arise and see the light
Many a times I passed through trouble
Many a times I passed through pain
