Doom's Day
Once the earth was green and alive. But now it is dreary and dying. What is left is deforestation, logging, fossil fuels, industrialisation, more fuming factories and pollution. The air we breathe was once fresh, the oceans and rivers clean and uncontaminated. We are now on the verge of extinction but no one is concerned with its preservation. We are continually consuming without any thought for the future and soon our resources will be exhausted. Time isn’t on our side and neither is the human population which is continually growing. Our obliviousness, lack of concern, and ignorance have brought us to this situation. The weather cycles are getting stranger by the day. Heat builds up on the ice caps melting polar ice and heating the dirt and clay. The last decade (2011-2020) was the warmest on record, and each of the last four decades has been warmer than any previous decade since 1850.
The sea level is continuously on the rise. We will gradually face intense water scarcity, droughts, severe fires, flooding, catastrophic storms and declining biodiversity. The animal species and marine life are dying and trees are withering away. Soon the earth will come to a disastrous ruin. The unrenewable products are sadly running out. But we remain unaware, hardly showing humanity which is bringing me to the brink of insanity. There is no hope for our children. The broken world will be our undoing. Our children’s awful slow death is all because we never tried to compromise or fix the situation. But alas! Even though we try to save their lives from this tragic fate it will be too little too late.

Future’s tragic fate
