Donut Day

It’s Donut Day in the USA
Forget the dieting for today
Sugary and sweet
And rough on one’s teeth
For just one day don’t fret o’er decay.

Beryl. I have to make this one a FAV)) wwhat makes it good to me, anyway, is the absence of forced cleverness.barf… thats akin to a stand up comedian, telling us one corn ball joke after another but none are funny to me.. i feel the same toward ANY canned laughter on Sitcoms! Impressive vocabulary leaves me dead as a doornail.)) Thus, warm words work wonders! Awesomely penned. Pangie xx

One day, one bite or two won't hurt. I agree. We need to enjoy the moment sometimes and dance with unhealthy things. We need a mix of them to be good.

Hi Deb, I read that in America it was donut day, that’s doughnut in England. We have a chocolate day every day, hubby buys it and I help him to eat it. Thank you, Beryl x
