Don'T You Know

Don’t you know I’m only trying to be free?
Don’t you know that this is me?
Don’t you know love can’t be built in a day?
Don’t you know?

Don’t you know I’ve spent my time just for you?
I’m giving all my life for you
All the tears have taken me from this love
Don’t you know?

I’ve spent too much of my time
Loving you, a waste of time
Give me one good reason now
Why I shouldn’t leaving you

We can argue day by day
But I’m the one who’s walked away
I’m so glad I’m here to say
Well it’s over now
And there’s no need to turn back time

Don’t you know I only want you to be true?
Say the word that “I love you”
God gives love for us to build just for two
Don’t you know?
