Don'T You

Don't you feel the same as I do?
Words flow out, but their meaning is lost
In voids of hate, for everything
But you; I stutter along
To my midnight black travels into pitfalls
That get deeper the further I fall...

Don't you feel the same as I do?
Or did I simply miss the target?
Practice makes perfect
But I'm not getting any better in my eyes
And you don't need to practice lying...

Please don't feel the same as I do,
I thought you wouldn't understand
Me and the drawings on my wrist
You empty your thoughts
Through spilt ink on white carpets
Even though you said you couldn't paint...

I knew you couldn't feel the same as I do
White lies you showed me and ripped out of trust
Suffocating on sirens,
Hugging my throat and my ears
And my eyes don't see the same anymore...

Nobody feels the same as I do
And thank God they don't see what I see in me
Thoughts trapped inside a vortex
Shivering in panicked mannerisms
Which freeze my tongue to the words I could never say.
