Don'T Worry, Everything's Gonna Be Al'Right

we all have to have a hero
to get us through
we all need to be inspired 
to re-aspire

we all need the human connection
to mould our own reflection
we all need love
and more white doves

hey, but don't worry
everything's gonna be al'right
i'll be with you tonight

we all need to connect with the land
even if it is a piece of sand
we all need to get our hands dirty
that is a certainty

we all need encouragement
for nourishment
we all need to conform
and be the norm

we all need to be useful
and be mostly truthful
we all need knowledge
and maybe some college

hey, but don't worry
everything's gonna be al'right
i'll be with you tonight

we all need support
when it all comes to naught
we all need finance
with some guidance. 

we all need need
it's what we feed
we all need space
to search for the right place

hey, but don't worry
everything's gonna be al'right
i'll be with you tonight

we all need to speak
with our big beaks
we all need to listen
and sometimes some streptomycin

we all need to belong
especially when things go wrong
we all need a song
and pretend to be strong

we all need each other
like our mother
we all need a brother
like our father

hey, but don't worry
everything's gonna be al'right
i'll be with you tonight

we all need to believe
so we can even conceive
we all need fire 
could even be dire

we all need friends
or some a contact lens
we all need feedback
and sometimes  a smack

we all need to strive
to just stay alive
we all need food
that is quite crude

hey, but don't worry
everything's gonna be al'right
i'll be with you tonight

we all need joy
it is our toy
we all need fun
or a slap on our bum

we all need something
we all need nothing
we all need things
we all need everything

hey, but don't worry
everything's gonna be al'right
i'll be with you tonight
