Don'T Wait

It’s a hot summer day and everything is okay. You walked past me, down the corridor. Your smile was the first thing I saw. As time has gone by I have realised my life is a lie. You have a special place in my heart but I’ve never told you; didn’t know where to start. It’s a hot summer day and nothing is okay. Your coffin passed me down the corridor. My words – "I love you" – hit the floor.
