Don'T Throw It Away

Don't just throw away something that was hard to find
Something treasured not so long ago
Finding that perfect something
Looked at from all sides
Once looked at in awe and wonderment
Seeing new light within it over time
Growing more fond of its changing ways
Like a rock from the north shore
Tumbling, rolling changes from day to day
Still the same rock that started out in the water
Only changes made now are more treasured
Time made it precious to you
Don't just throw it away
