Don'T Think

Don't you ever think
That it has to end
You are not alone
I will be your friend

Don't you ever think
It's too difficult to win
I too, been where you are
In the places you have been

Don't you ever think
Your walls are caving in
I'll help you build em back
Attempt to make you grin

Dont you ever think
Doubt or even question
Your potential in this world
Or that no one wants your presence

Don't you ever think
Everyone has bad intentions
I know how you feel
It's like staring at my reflection

Don't you ever think
Life won't teach you lessons
Learn from what went wrong
And leave your best impressions

Dedicated to a friend of mine, who inspired me to write this poem. The struggles of life for us young adults, is tough. Some don't make it through, others are lucky to survive. So my message to those of you that have battled depression, myself included, don't you ever think that life is to much. Nothing is ever thrown your way that you are not ready to handle. Stay strong and fight on.

To my friend. You inspired this poem, and I am here for you
"Past is the past, present is now, the future is yours"
