Don'T Make Me Go Back

Don't make me go back
to all the years of pain
the years that broke my heart
leaving me sad and alone
let me stay here
where I can live happily 
where their words can't reach me
where their stones can't hurt me
I wil never go back
to that nightmarish time
where fear and pain
was all I knew
where tears were the norm 
it's with a heavy heart that I even remember
so please don't make me go back there
I beg you  please
