Don'T Let the Dream Die
Do you remember how we used to play?
The innocent laughter washed our cares away
Do you remember how we used to sing?
The same old song about the beauty of spring
Do you remember how we used to play?
Disregard for the future, we lived for today
There and then was the happiest place
The thoughts of an end were so hard to embrace
And now the sunshine has turned into winter
What do you see when you look out the window?
A wasteland where once our flowers bloomed
So cold and so barren, in a cloud of gloom
But how can you tell me to let the dream die?
A shot at forever is worth a try
How can you tell me to simply forget
Condemning myself to a life of regret
