Don'T Just Judge By the Title

I recently found an old poetry book
Curiously I took a quick look
Scanning through the index
The titles didn't make any sense
After a quick debate as to turn the next page
Curiosity overcome the delay
So I read the first poem
With a satisfactory grin
Quickly flicking over to the next
Fascinated by the interesting text
I made myself comfortable in my chair
And I read until daylight impaired
Missing all my daily routines
Keeping me totaly intrigued
Until I turned the dusty back cover
And my little mind blowing journey was over
A little lesson learned in final
Don't just judge by the title

Intriguing write for an intriguing day - so nice to be able to comfortably read all day. The chores will remain. :) Linda
