Don'T Forget Me
They day we met
I knew I'd never forget
The time we had together
I prayed it would last forever
I wish every night
That everything works out right
But life had other plans for us
And we had to leave each other
So I dedicate this poem to you
Please take it and keep it near
So that if you're ever in fear
Or just need some comfort
All you have to do is
Hold it close to your heart
To know that I think of you
So whenever you feel
That you might forget me
I want you to read this poem
Because I'll never forget you.
