Don'T Ever Give Up

As a child I was told practice makes perfect
No matter who you are.
Again. Again it has to be automatic.
In order for you to be fantastic.
Listen to the guitar.
As a child I was told practice makes perfect
Listen to the music.
You need to hold that bar.
Again. Again it has to be automatic.
Show them the magic
Of your voice which doesn't resonate from
Your jugular.
As a child I was told practice makes perfect
Don't show panic
You are suppose to be spectacular.
Again, Again it has to be automatic
Just like a habit.
When you are famous and write your memoir
You will be able to say as a child I was told
Practice makes perfect
Again. Again it has to be automatic.

Thank you. As a child I didn't like to practice. As I grew older I figured out it was necessary. I hope you have a nice day.

I know that practice that is automatic is the best way for me to teach children social skills. I teach them an easy script, so when they get into a bind, if they keep practicing, they can grab it and use it. Practice that is automatic is perfect.

I practice every time before I do open Mic or before I read at City Hall. It helps me to be able to have more eye contact with my audience. That way I can see how well I am doing.
