Don'T Drive Them Insane

Love your children,
tell them you care,
don't scare them with a hateful stare.

Love your children,
don't make them ashamed,
to be your child, to have your last name.

Love your children,
be proud of their work,
tell them you love them, don't be a jerk.

Love your children,
let their cries always be heard,
if your reply is a mean one, breathe not a word.

Love your children,
don't drive them insane,
telling them they are useless, have not a brain.

Love your children,
then when you are old,
you will have comfort and a warm hand to hold.
