Don'T Blink

Don’t blink, for a second is all it takes.

In a second, the heart can stop
In a second, the mind will scramble
In a second, there is new life
In a second, there is death
In a second, there will be love
In a second, there will be hate
In a second, a breath is taken
In a second, temperatures will change
In a second, it can be early
In a second, it can be too late
In a second, everything can all come to an end.

Don’t blink, for a second is all it takes,
All it takes to make a difference, to make a change
In a second, time will work wonders.
