Don't be Fooled

Don't be fooled by his smiling teeth.
They hide malevolence beneath.
And I advise that you never slight
him because of his squatty height. 
If you're feeling fast and cocky,
recall, a croc is swift and stocky.

I am reminded of Ogden Nash's ending couplet on tiger-cats: "When called by a panther, don't anther." Keep smiling, David.
