Don't be afraid, dear friend
When all your efforts meet with cruel defeat,
And shattered dreams lie at your weary feet,
When shadows dance, and fear whispers its dread,
And hope seems lost, like a flickering thread,
Don't be afraid, dear friend, don't lose your heart,
Let your spirit rise, and play a stronger part.
When doors are closed, and burdens weigh you down,
And smiles are hidden, like a fading crown,
When joy seems distant, a forgotten song,
And the weight of despair hangs heavy and long,
Don't be afraid, dear friend, don't give in to despair,
Find strength within, and breathe the fresh, hopeful air.
Life's journey is a path both rough and grand,
With valleys deep, and mountains at hand,
Each stumble, each fall, a lesson to learn,
A testament to strength, a chance to return.
Don't be afraid, dear friend, embrace your scars,
They are the maps that guide you, reaching for the stars.
There's no limit to the wisdom life can bring,
Each challenge faced, a new strength will sing.
Break free from chains that bind you, take flight,
Climb mountains tall, and bask in the golden light.
Don't be afraid, dear friend, let your courage ignite,
Like gold refined, you'll shine with radiant might.
When doubts surround you, a suffocating shroud,
And silence whispers secrets, dark and proud,
Turn weakness into strength, a mighty force so bold,
And keep moving forward, with a story yet untold.
Don't be afraid, dear friend, don't lose your hope,
With every step, you're closer to the life you elope.
