Don'T Ask

At the time, I thought moving on was Fable You seem like the perfect person to turn the Table You made me smile, you made me Laugh I could imagine us sharing all that we Have As the girl who always want things to work out, friendship was Promised Although, I didn’t realize it then but I was being less than Honest A couple minutes changed it All And just like that you became the person I no longer wanted to Call I guess that’s what I get for rushing and wanting something that could last Long On the bright side, I got to experience a moment of a shared love Song Didn’t want to leave because cloud nine was our favorite place to be and I thought would Miss As days go by, us becomes easier to Forget If it was not a dream, it must have been something I thought I meant and once Said The excitement of something new and what could have been, must have gotten to my Head Don’t Ask: Why can’t we work it out or how do I know the reality of what’s true? Because the answer: As hard as I thought it would have been, the minute we were through. I was over You.
