Donovan Drops
A long time ago, somewhere cozy I know,
under bright fire glow, my mind got blown.
PSYCARNIVAL, the place to be, where I found me looking at me,
I'm now the place to be, me and me are We, my He and my She are 'The'
I am the beggining of space and the end of eternity.
The funs now begun, since a drop on my tongue and a barrel of Rum
fell on my bum, didn't look glum.
The fire did spit and the flames licked, it finally clicked,
we've all been hand-picked, plucked from the Ether, given life's breather.
I'm melting into you, you're turning blue, we're both floating too,
we're locked out of time, gibbering foolish rhyme, excuse me do you have the time?
Something wonderful's happening, into the universe...I'm tapping in,
I can see all, I broke through the wall, normal had a fall,
I'm 100 feet tall, the Sun's my football.
Thankyou whatever, for the glimpse of forever, the Now and the Never,
the Light and the Dark, both were quite stark,
Realities chains, I'm no longer bound, since the answers I found,
I'm free to soar, hear me roar, to slip through a door, rise through the floor,
quicker than neutrinos, with that up my nose,
I'm what everyone knows I'm the wind that blows, wherever it goes!
The Ganges did bless, on The Trip to Rishikesh, I feel so refreshed.
First, there is a mountain, then it was a fountain, but Hey Gip whose countin'
I kicked off boots of steel,
And rode my Cosmic Wheels! P&L Xx
