Dolphins In the Port Harbour

Mirrored still body of water

reflects the sky

no wind no ripples.

Named a sacred place.

The lady in the lake waits.

Such a quiet peaceful port.

Two dolphins jump out!

Diving In sychronicity.

Fins glittering in the sun

A mother and calf

disappearing...

now re-appearing...

sewing the calm surface

in this fashion

.....into the distance.

From a different direction......

a single dolphin leaps!

momentarily airborne

leaving echoing ripples
of its presence.
