Dolled Up

It matters getting dolled up;
I didn’t realize how much
until there was no reason,
no one around to see it ;
No more clothes flirting with words
beauty fading from the world,
women thrive in cherry gloss;

Feeling pretty makes you smile;
Sweats and pajamas all day
surprised sadness is mounting?
Dresses cannot be depressed;
So paint your nails wear the heels,
it matters getting dolled up.
