Doggone Blue
I’m so lonesome, ever since, you went away
Every morning, I look out, the skies are grey
There’s no sunshine, here to warm me, and
I’m chilled right to the core
I don’t know if, I can take this any more
This old house is, just one big, empty space
I’m so restless, and I feel, so out of place
There’s no loving, when I wake up, from
A long and sleepless night
It’s so peaceful, and lord that just aint right
Think I’ll go out, and find me, a new best friend
Maybe this one, will stay, to the very end
We’ll go walking , every morning, and
At night we’ll cuddle up
So tomorrow, gonna buy me a pup
