Ohh, my eyes tinge with tears. Anybody who's ever loved and lost a dog will whole-heartedly relate in a heart-felt way. Your few words convey huge emotion! :) P.S. love the pic that goes with your Haiku!

I do write the odd serious poem Eve - no we have never had a pet dog and have no pets at all as I'm allergic to animal fur ... if I did have a pet it would be a cat:-( hugs jan x

I'm not really allowed on the computer right now...I fell and broke my back! I'm still in the hospital and my wife just left to use the bathroom so I grabbed the tablet to tell someone that I'm sorry I haven't been on the last few days....there is a reason! I slipped in the bathtub and landed right on my back, broke it in two places, hurts like hell too. So if you could let everyone know, I'll be back when I can actually look at a computer without pain! Thank you Jan..Oh and your poem is awesome
