Does Love Mean Anything
Does love mean anyhting?
Is it more real than the ring
that you buy to prove it,
than the words you whisper about it?
Can it last,
or will it disappear just as fast
as it appeared to you,
no matter what you do?
Can you save love
like a wounded dove,
or fix it like a boat
that can't float?
Can love mean something,
or does it mean nothing?
