Do You Talk With Yourself

Do you talk with yourself?
Don’t think about schizophrenia
Forget about calling yourself an idiot
Do you talk with yourself?
I don’t think about going crazy
Rather about becoming smarter
Do you talk with yourself?
I don’t think about talking about yourself
Rather about thinking about the day
Do you talk with yourself?
Standing on the diving board
The glass was half full
Do you talk with yourself?
A cancer diagnosis and a breakup
The glass was half empty
Do you talk with yourself?
About things I’m not willing
Willing to write; all about
Do you talk with yourself?
Which brings me to the next question;
Do you listen to yourself?
