DO YOU STILL BELIEVE IN LOVE?

The past Is a weight I carry A heavy bundle on my back Dragging me down with every step. I remember— How I gave her everything Only for her to squander it all Leaving me to crumble, to fall. Do I still believe in love? After I reached beyond myself Proving the depth of my heart Only for you to tear it apart. Yet, yes— I still believe in love. Like the sun, though I set each day I rise again, unwavering in my way. And with time, no matter how far I run I’ll find my way back to love, to you, once more.
