Do You See Me
wow look at me if you dare
do you believe what you see or what you hear?
can you see through the mask i wear?
would you even care
can you see past the smiles i show?
to the pain in which i don't want you to know
can you feel the little squeeze i give when we hug?
silently pleading for your help, your strength, your love
do you even see me...
do you even care about me?
who i truly am inside not just what you see on the outside
would you help me fight my greatest fears
or abandoned me to my tears?
would you be there for me when i need you the most
or leave me behind all alone?
i'm not asking you for much
i just want you to see,see me for who i truly am
and whom i truly want to be
wow look at me if you dare..
