Do you remember the day you met me
I was sat in a cafe drinking some tea
Do you remember the words that I spoke
you laughed out loud thinking it was a joke
Do you remember when I asked for a date
you did not answer but I said I would wait
Do you remember when I asked you again
I waited outside in the pouring rain
Do you remember when I gave you the rose
I must have looked silly with my runny nose
Do you remember the words that I said to you
I have to go now as I have caught the flu
