So, do you still love poetry after all of this
I know you love me
And will read what I write
with the praise of a lover opening her heart
to her beloved
when I walk among the clouds at dawn
and lay at your feet what I have seen
describing the indescribable coming of the dawn
do you love the words as much as me
or do you love the words as much as I love to
use them describing the you I want to believe in
When we were only two I was your only orb and
You were my only morning star
How far
How far
We have come
