Do You Love Me?
Do you love me?
You have said it so many times
In so many different ways
During evenings together with our dreams
Words spoken between sips of wine
Times when we were alone on a sandy beach
Water rolling between us as we kissed
A thousand sunsets filled our senses
Romantic feeling bloomed
Or was it just the golden light
Making diamond on the gentle waves
That bought the feelings out
When I look into your eyes it is easy to see
The candlelight of our late night dinner
Reflects on your ivory skin
Showing me the beauty that you possess
Letting me see the smile you lips hold dear
A smile born from your love
I ask again, do you love me?
Your eyes, your face, your smile gives me the answer
Without you ever saying a word
In my heart I know that the answer is yes
I never even had to ask
Did I?
