Notes About The Poem

That last  stanza  was really just an after thought,  a foot note.

My heart went off on a tangent

Do You Know Me

Do you know me?
I continue on for you
Only to be blinded by the shine
In your brown eyes

Do you know what a mystery
You are to me?
Do you know the fabrics I
Must unweave just to be within

Ear shot of your voice
That musical noise
I miss that bell sound
And your poise

I remember watching you
Leap to avoid puddles on
Misty days, loving the sound
At the beginning of your rejoice

Do you know me?
Suffering at the end of
Your every sentence
Regal celebration with your

Every entrance
Do you know me?
I am devoted solely to you.
Your heart of virtue is cue

I want to soak up your
Essence and drink you
If I choose regal queen
Serene serene Serene
