Do You Know
As you lie there sleeping, I wonder…
Do you feel my hand in yours?
Or my fingers in your hair?
Do you feel me trace your lips with my fingertips?
Or trace my heart upon yours?
Do you feel my head upon your chest?
Or my lips upon your shoulder?
Do you feel me wrap you up in my love?
Or cover you in my kisses?
As I lie there beside you, watching…
Do you hear me say ‘ I love you’?
Or say ‘how beautiful you are’?
Do you hear me talk of our future?
Or tell you about my dreams?
Do you know I watch you?
And tell you just how lucky I am to have you?
Do you see me in your dreams?
Am I there with you where ere’ you go?
As we lie there in the pale moonlight,
Together… I wonder… Do you know?
