Do You Know
Do you know every word you say fascinates me?
If the world revolves around the words that you said and spoke,
I would be in complete and utter awe all the star lit nights.
That’s all because of the mind that places the phrases, words, punctuation in such a select order that flows so freely to me.
Almost like your words speak to the heart and soul of my being.
My brain and it’s functions wants to hear and see more.
Of all the people in the world, why do your words mean so much to me?
It all starts with who you are.
Your thoughts, experiences, and how your moral compass reacts to life’s decisions.
We share the same thoughts, passions, and views of the world itself.
It’s like a food concessiuer who shares the same pallet with you.
Your thought pallet runs down the same alleys and streets as I do.
And it only gets stronger with each sentence.
But if things are really in a set lock and key,
It has to flow the same for you.
For even if it doesn’t, the water still runs down the same end of the river.
Only we are separated by rocks, moss, mold. sound and distance
But I still feel the words that run deep
And that will never go away from my memory.
So thanks for you being you,
don’t ever change that script.
Because the phrases and lines wouldn’t mean the same thing if you did.
Question is, if you changed your lines who would your words speak to now??
