Do You Know
Do you know that my lips long for yours?
That my mouth craves the taste of you?
That every part of me cries out to be closer to you, to take you in?
Even my fingertips ache to touch you.
And your very name is like a line of poetry to me as it slips past my tongue.
Each and every time I am with you I am amazed.
I thought this could only happen in a dream, but even I could not have imagined this.
You blow my mind.
And I want nothing more than to spend each day unwrapping you, layer by perfect layer,
enjoying the wholeness of you.
Do you know that whenever I am with you, all of my inhibitions melt away?
And that it is then, when all of my walls are gone and all my barriers have left me that I feel
safer than I have ever felt?
You strip me down.
And in that sweet abandonment I cannot see fear or what-if's, but only that I love you, that I
loved you before I knew you and that I want to spend the rest of my life naked and
vulnerable just like this letting you unwrap me until one day I cannot see where I end and
you begin.
