Do You Hear Me Zeus
The ocean calls to me,
I hear the faint voices in my head of
Their regret to the past,
Of things that should have been,
The voices fade and disappear,
I am drawn to the shores,
I feel sanctuary,
I feel safe,
No pain No suffering,
I walk further out into the ocean,
Arms stretched to the sky,
Calling out to Zeus and the Gods above,
To end this suffering,
I hear them tell me,
You must feel this pain,
You must live on so that you can,
Forgive yourself and begin to heal.
I walk back to the beach defeated,
Wondering did the great and powerful,
Zeus even hear me???
I walk as angels surround me in comfort,
Not knowing yes He heard me.
