Do You Have Time Now

You said that you had dreams,
You said that you weren't free...
Well, do you have the time now?

You said that you would catch up later,
You said that you would try to get better...
Well, do you have the time now?

You said you need some peace...
Hear the birds sing; the rustling leaves...
Well, do you have the time now?

You said it loud, you talked the talk...
And now it's time... To walk the walk...
But here you are, you curse and lament...
Disturbed, distraught, disfigured and bent...

Your face still glows from the tablet's light..
You've lost your reasons, you've lost your might...
Was everything you said, a lie for me?
Or something just for yourself to believe...

Stop hiding behind the what, the how...
You asked for time from up above...
Well, do you have the time now?

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
