Do You Have a Halo

Sometimes I wonder, do you have a halo now?

Dressed in white, drifting in clouds are you now?

Do you still feel the pain like when you were sick?

Do you still grow old as the time ticks?

Can you look down and see? I've out grown your shoes.

Do you still guide me leaving behind hidden clues?

Do you hear your daughter's prayers for you?

And mom's silent tears? She misses you too.

Can you come back? Give away that halo?

Life was so easy when I just had to follow.

Am I mean? Wishing something so bad?

I'm sorry, I just miss you dad.......

(hugs) loss is hard, but you have expressed it true.
