Do You Even Love Me

You are the only one for me
Your love is so irresistible
Your desires are unreachable
You and I walk a fragile line
Close your eyes and feel my voice in your mind
You said, "I am yours and you are mine."
I spent my life thinking we were fine
As I pass my time
Writing you all these loving lines
Trust not in the pain you are feeling
But in the words that are healing
My heart is pounding, mind racing, and feet pacing
You affected me in any way that made me change my thinking
The thoughts of you drift through my open mind and only leave chills
Constantly I ask myself, “Is this even real?”
The harsh graffiti on my heart’s walls are signs
I should have known that all this time
Walk with me, let us both feel free
I’m waiting for you to tell me you love me
