Do you believe
in a better land?
An idea, a hope
a place where you stand?
something that matters
something important to you
a faith you express
and wish everyone knew
a belief that is crucial
and dear to your heart
maybe it keeps you
from falling apart
a light in your darkness
giving comfort and hope
close to you always
and helping you cope
it defines your existence
pain it will relieve
the only question is
do you believe?
